Civils 2000 has its head office in Tokai, Cape Town. Civils 2000 contracts Bulk Pipelines (Water, Sewer and Stormwater), Roadworks (Asphalt, Paving & Concrete), Concrete Works (Structural concrete and Water retaining structures), Dams, Bulk Earthworks and Civil Engineering Services.

BEE

Civils 2000 has a level 3 BEE grading certificate.

OPERATIONAL HEALTH- & SAFETY ACT

A fully equipped OH&S section with a senior level appointment reporting to a Director.

 

Long Service Awards

PLANT

Civils 2000 has a policy to own necessary equipment as opposed to hiring equipment. To this end, Civils has sufficient equipment to support all contracts. We have a fully equipped workshop situated in Blackheath. (15 Excavators, 22 Digger loaders (TLB’s), 4 Full grader teams (Grader, Loader, Water Cart and Roller), 2 Off-road dumpers and a Bulldozer). Small equipment (plate compactors, generators, pumps etc.) is sufficiently stocked to back up the large plant.

ENVIRONMENTAL

Civils 2000 is fully environmentally compliant. To this end we have received an award.

PROJECT COMPLETED

EMPLOYEES

Civils 2000 support their employees in providing unsecured loans for house repairs and emergencies. Civils 2000 also supports its employee’s recreational soccer team.
