HISTORY

Civils 2000 was founded by Rob Starke and Colin Shapiro on 4th August 1992. In 2005 a restructure was negotiated with RZT Zelpy 4396 (Pty) Ltd acquiring 30% ownership.

A second restructure took place in 2009 with Vunani Ltd and Absa Bank taking up 40% ownership.

The company has expanded extensively and currently employs over 300 permanent- and 200 casual staff members.

The head office is situated in Tokai, with supporting offices in Port Elizabeth, George, Plettenberg Bay and Hopefield near Saldanha Bay.
